Don't Leave Me.

NIALL P.O.V.

     The ambulance took him away. He wasn't dead, but he wasn't... alive. He was in a coma.
     My sweet Liam. Why didn't you just let him hit me? I wondered, fully aware he couldn't answer.
     I looked at the road. His blood covered the pavement. That should have been my blood. I was the one that was careless.
     I walked to the car we shared. He had been hit right in front of the house we had just bought. We had just moved in together. Things weren't supposed to turn out like this.
     I pulled out the key I had at got in the driver's seat. I started the car and started to drive.
     Where to? The hospital of course. Liam, my precious Liam, was there. And it was my fault.
     I was going to stay by his side. And wait. Wait for the moment he once again opens his eyes.
